<img 0="" border="0" src="http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy160/feliaudrey/o-MARRIAGE-PROPOSAL-facebook_zpsd9niivd9.jpg" height="300" width="600" /><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">I'm so curious. How can someone propose to his girl when they've picked engagement date, or even wedding date? Some couple got engaged during their prewedding session. Some guys propose after they held an engagement ceremony. This story is even worse; a Thai socialite got proposed just two weeks before her wedding, months after they had prewedding photoshoot, engagement ceremony, and hand-deliver invitations to guests. LOL. Her reaction is unbelievable too; acting surprised and moved to tears. That's too ridiculous. Based on what I know (and believe), a marriage proposal is where one person in a relationship asks for the other's hand in marriage, by popping those famous question "Will you marry me?". If accepted, it marks the initiation of engagement, a mutual promise of later marriage. A proposal is intended to be a surprise! The answer could be a yes or a no or a "I can't answer it now I'm not ready yet". Acceptance of the proposal is not compulsory. A woman may decline a proposal and may not declare what the reasons are, yes? But in this case, the answer is already known -.- There's no doubt, nerves, sweat, anxiety of being turned down. Well, I guess these people doesn't know and doesn't need that essence of proposal.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">K-Star Road is a new tourist hotspot in Gangnam. It is an urban walking course located in Seoul's affluent Gangnam district. It links high end shopping to headquarters of major Korean entertainment companies (SM entertainment, Cube, JYP, FNC, etc), the born place of kpop stars. It is expected to become one of the must-visit locations for tourists as well as fans. This 'Hallyuwood Walk of Fame' pays homage to K-Pop stars in the form of cutesy bear sculptures, known as Gangnamdol, dedicated to Korean singers and actors. Be sure to drop by and take lots of picture with your favorite Kpop group’s doll before you resume your long walk towards the entertainment companies.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">On the very first day of 2016, me, my sister, and a friend of mine were gathered in Juanda Airport Surabaya with bags fully loaded with thick clothes. We flew to Singapore, had a super short transit, and flew again to Korea! Finally.. touchdown Kimchiland! It was 11pm in Seoul, so basically we spent our new year mostly on plane. After a long walk, we arrived at our first Airbnb. It's located in Hongdae area.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">The next day, we began with Ewha Womans University! Korea in January is hella cold, around -3 to 5 celcius. Ewha is one of some prestigious universities in Seoul. The place is very green and clean. I wouldn’t mind to go back to school if the school is this beautiful. The streets around Ewha is a shopping heaven for me. Those are the places where you will find the good bargain because Korean students are very good at looking trendy on a budget. We also spotted a lot of boutiques selling affordable girls clothing in different styles, mostly sweet and feminine. I spent around 80.000KRW (approx 900.000 IDR) for 6 clothing items! How cheap is that (considering the quality)! Watch out, some shops in Seoul sell "made in china" stuffs.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">When I first heard that I'm gonna visit Queenstown besides Melbourne, I was.. not that excited? I didn't hear much about the city. Yes I knew about New Zealand and its beauty, but Queenstown seemed strange to me. However, I gotta say that what I had in mind was sooo different to what it was. Queenstown was 1000 times more beautiful!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">That day, Queenstown journey was hung up because our flight was diverted to Christchurch due to bad weather. Wind was blowing strongly, our plane was shaking. At first, it was just a normal ups and downs, but it's getting worse. Some people on the plane even puke and screamed.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">However, we were grateful that our flight was rerouted because the journey from Christchurch to Queenstown was one of the best things in our trip. It took around 6 hours to reach Queenstown. We rented a van and discovered some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery; icy mountains, idyllic rural scenes, grazing cows and sheeps, surreal blue lakes and rivers. Everything was picture perfect, the pictures I took look like postcards. Even the night sky didn't disappoint. I had never seen as many stars as I did there. Sitting outside and looking up at the millions of stars was a wonderful way to end the day.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">In Queenstown, there's this street where you will find a row of unusual letter boxes. There were around 50 of them. I believe each letter box represents the owner's interest or occupation.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Relationship is all about sacrifice. Usually, in order for two unique people to perfectly blend together as one, the relationship calls for a compromise. Whether it’s about making adjustments to your daily routines or tweaking your habits, to compromise means doing what it takes to make your partner happy, and isn’t that what makes a relationship work?</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">You can compromise and find that you are happier because things are actually great between the two of you. You might even realize that you’ve become a better person in the process. Because you want to make your partner happy, you become more punctual, or tidier, or less demanding, or more caring. You can compromise a lot of things, but you don’t have to compromise on everything. While there are a lot of things you can do to make your partner happy, there are things you shouldn’t give up simply to do that. Let me give you three things that you shouldn’t compromise in a relationship:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">1. Values. You shouldn’t have to change your beliefs and your standing on things to fit into someone else’s values. Hold true to what you believe in, because the belief system and the set of values which you have built over the course of your lifetime is what makes you who you are. Don’t give it up simply to make your relationship work. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">2. Relationships. We are social beings. Being able to spend quality time with our friends and family is essential to our lives. In fact, our entire existence is built upon the relationship we have with them. So, if your partner is asking you to give up your family or your friends to make it work with him, here’s a word of advice: run as fast as you can towards your friends and your family and away as far as you can from him! </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">3. Passion and your purpose in life. Everyone of us is put on this earth to do something big in life. We are made with a purpose and our passion is the key to discovering that purpose. You should always strive to do the things you are passionate about in life to achieve that “something big”. Your passion makes you who you are and it cannot be traded, even for all the love in the world. If you are asked to give up on the things you are passionate about to make a relationship work, you might as well give the whole thing up, because without passion, you won’t be the same person anymore anyway. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">4. Perception of Beauty. If someone doesn't love the way you look when they start dating you, you shouldn't date them. They're not going to magically enjoy your body/appearance in a way they didn't before, and even if they did, who would want to be with someone who had to get used to the idea of finding you attractive? If you are dating someone, and feel that you should constantly be losing ten pounds, or not be seen without makeup, or dressing in a way that feels uncomfortable to you, you're never going to be truly happy. And if someone slowly convinces you over the course of a relationship that you are not okay the way you are, and you need to change your standards of beauty to meet theirs, that is simply a bad relationship.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Relationship is about sacrifice, yes it is indeed. And sometimes, you might be called to compromise on things to make your relationship work. However, when the time comes for you to do so, please remember that you don’t have to compromise everything. Please don’t lose yourself in the name of love.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">As a frequent traveller, I've tried many types of accommodation options; budget hotel, boutique hotel, guest house, private house rental, apartment, luxurious 5* hotel, even hostel (ugh, once is enough). I can’t always choose a luxury hotel but don’t want to stay in an ugly budget hotel. I'm not that type of person who prefer to suffer while sleeping and showering, as long as they can see the tourist attractions and shop. Even though I were travelling on a budget, I will never ever stay in a cheap-but-hideous budget hotel. I'll go for boutique hotels or apartments or private house rentals (airbnb) that offer something different.
</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Talking about accommodation, my Queenstown's was more-than-awesome. Some people might say, for a room I will barely be in most of the day, it's a waste of money. For us, a stay in New Zealand's number one holiday destination deserves premium accommodation. My accommodation is located in an elite area with 3000 acre settlement in one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. It combines a sustainable design approach with contemporary architecture. All day sun elevated to enjoy the absolutely awe inspiring lake & mountain views. The Remarkables mountain ranges dominate the skyline; there was still snow on the peaks when I arrived. This brand new home offers many surprises with full modern amenities. On the description, they say: expect the unexpected.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">Without further due, here are pictures of the house, some of them featuring my sis in law doing her morning yoga.

YES, I LOST MY CAMERA on my last day in Queenstown with all the pictures of beautiful Melbourne and Queenstown in it. <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">It's been few years since the last time I visited Melbourne, so I'm so excited! The main reason of this trip is to do pre wedding photoshoot of my 4th brother and his fiancé. We stayed at a small nice house at suburb area of Melbourne, Dandenong (around 30km from the city). Anyway it's my first experience with Airbnb, and since I love to travel, I'm planning to keep on using it! If you’re unfamiliar with it, Airbnb is a place where private home owners can rent out their properties (it can be rooms, apartments, or even house) to travellers. It gives hosts a platform to earn some short term rental income and travellers the chance to enjoy the comforts of a private home. I would definitely choose Airbnb over hotel, for the sake of social benefits. It’s always good to meet new people and the host will often be able to provide you with local knowledge and information which will make your stay even more pleasant.

Operating daily from 10.00am to 9.00pm, visitors to the museum will journey through six themed zones, titled World of Masterpieces, Safari Kingdom, Stars of Circus, Dreams of Fairytale, Love in Winter, and Adventure Discovery.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Basically, I had fun taking photos! I got over 50 satisfying photos only from this place (LOL). Even for someone that is not really into taking pictures like my sister, it was fun actually. The way the pictures turn out when you take them from an angle is the interesting part. Moreover, if you are not an expert, there are instructions on where to stand for the photographers which is really helpful. The place has great lighting and WIFI connection (so you can upload your pic right away).
For those who are planning to visit this place, my suggestions are:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">During my third visit to Bali this year, I managed to visit Ritz Carlton Hotel Bali with boyfriend. We got lost at first, but finally found the hidden gem thanks to GPS. Once we got in, we entered into a very expansive lobby which happens to be on a cliff overlooking the resort itself. The view from up is sooo beautiful.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><img 0="" border="0" src="http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy160/feliaudrey/2015/aDSC06098_zpst0lplw4u.jpg" height="400" width="600" /> </span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">To get to the villas, restaurants, chapel, and beach, you have to take a 70 meter high glass elevator down the cliff. Once you get there you can either take the buggies readily available to where you want to go or simply walk. All the villas, restaurants, pool and beach are very walkable to be honest but you won't complain about having a free ride right? I would love to go back there with my whole family if given the chance. I think it's worth the buck. There is construction still going on on in different parts of the resort and another resort being built up next door. However, it is still a very beautiful resort.

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">La Favela is probably the most eclectic restaurant (and bar) I've ever visited in Bali. It got me nothing but looking around, amazed by the fantastic design and detail. It made me feel like I was in an antique museum. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The restaurant seems small from outside, but once</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"> you enter the gate and pass through the small straight bridge, you're about to enter a whole different place! There are main area, outdoor area with another small bridge and pond, VIP rooms with different interiors, and some more. In the end, you will find a restaurant unlike any other in Seminyak.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The restaurant is easily missed since it's presence is only shown thru a small neon signage, but during night, it's quite eye-catching (because of the lighting) and ear-cathing (because of the loud music). It's located at Jalan Laksamana Oberoi, right next to <a href="http://fliflirticious.blogspot.com/2013/08/bistrot-bali.html" target="_blank">Bistrot</a> Bali. La Favela looks like a long forgotten colonial building located at the edge of Brazilian rainforest. It has an extreme focus on the small details, retro and antique furniture, plants that grow almost everywhere, old bikes, scooters and even a worn out Volkswagen van makes the illusion complete. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">During the daytime, La Favela functions as restaurant, but on weekend night, La Favela turns into a club. I visited during night after my japanese dinner at <a href="http://fliflirticious.blogspot.com/2015/05/rayjin-teppanyaki-dining-bar-seminyak.html" target="_blank">Rayjin</a>. I was already full so I came with my two girl friends only for a drink and stayed late for the DJ to start spinning its jam. Price is expensive for sure since it's located at the heart of Seminyak, but that's fine I took is as an entrance fee to a museum :D</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I was asked to join dinner at Rayjin by my photographer friend during my extremely-short visit to Bali. I arrived on Friday 11pm and go home on Sunday evening, so I can say that this was my only dinner time in Bali. It's a bit hard to find this little gem because it's tucked away in Petitenget road, but trust me it's worth the effort to find! From the minute I walked in, it's noisy, the chefs had some well practiced rituals going on to welcome patrons, communicate with each other throughout service. The food was fresh and cooked right in front of us with this organised precision that would do any kitchen proud. The wagyu steak was divine and my chicken teriyaki was amazing. My friend suggested that I should indulge it with the garlic rice instead of plain rice… and it turned out so yummy! What makes my visit even better was, the chef came to me and asked for my name. Few minutes later, he gave me a piece of paper with my name written on it in Japanese calligraphy style. The owner
was really friendly. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span>
<img 0="" border="0" src="http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy160/feliaudrey/2015/aDSC06180_zpsigvvxtss.jpg" height="900" width="600" />

<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">To end my dinner, I ordered the matcha ice cream and stole a spoon of my friend's matcha creme brulée. Both are so yummy T.T How I wish there's Rayjin in my city.</span></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12601505572330649554noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-470059745289270738.post-3686307667462489922015-05-05T23:06:00.000+07:002015-05-19T23:44:53.983+07:00My 23rd Birthday<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I've never shared my birthdays here before, so I think this is a good time to share one. Got the first birthday cake from my bf and tbh I wasn't that surprised by his presence due to the fact that he comes to my house every year on my birthday to join me eating noodles (as an Indonesian born chinese, there's this custom to eat noodles on the birthdays, symbolising longevity). However, the cake from him this year was a hit, it was really cute I love it :) I also received loves from my friends, family, and coworkers. So yeah, basically my birthdays have always been filled with so much love, fun, smiley faces and people who mean the world to me.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">For those who lives here in Surabaya, you must've heard about Beatus Alfresco dining & grill and its famous dish. It is the soon-to-be-legendary Caramelized Butter Crab. My bf and I have heard good things about the experience, and I decided to treat him there on my birthday. Needless to say the meal exceeded everything I had expected. We were blown away with our meal. Im not a fan of seafood but this was simply the best crab meal I can find in Surabaya. The tasty sauce worth every penny. Both my bf and I had happy, full bellies after leaving. In conclusion, I'd encourage anyone who has any interest in dining here to make a reservation and try it out because you will sit down to a meal you won't soon forget. I spent like IDR 900.000 or $70 for 2 portions of crab (around 400g each). Crab comes with rice.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">My bf and I found this fancy cafe during our unemployed hour when we walked around the mall (Ciputra World Surabaya). It's located next to the end of long escalator at the 3rd floor. I then decided to have a quick brunch the other day with my other friends there. We ordered brunch menus and hot tea from Gryphon. Over all, we weren't blown away by the brunch menus. I found it too expensive for the decent taste. I suggest you to order the desserts and hot tea instead. However, it was a nice place to sit down, enjoy a cup of tea, and take selfies :p because of the pleasant atmosphere, clean interior, and supportive lighting. They really had a good taste to make the place lovely as well as relaxing.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Last August, me and my girls stayed at this brand new Le Meridien hotel on our final two nights. This place gave me a good experience so I'm gonna post this thing up. As we stepped into the lobby, we were welcomed by the modern decor. The bright, vibrant colours and the hip, upbeat vibe immediately lifted our moods. The employees, from the front desk staff to housekeepers and the buggy drivers genuinely look happy to be working and take pride in ensuring our stay was a delightful one.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Naughty Nuri's Batubelig has now changed into HOG WILD. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Apparently, they have just changed their name as it had gone independent but food and everything else stayed the same (and even better). </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">As a carnivore and a loyal pork fan, of course I already heard about this place long long time ago. I ate here like over 10 times (mostly at the Naughty Nuri's Ubud branch) and I still can't get enough of it. The main part of Hog Wild appeal is definitely the barbecued ribs. The ribs are served with a slice of lime, tasty marinade, and choices of side dish. There are fries, rice, salad, and mashed potato as the sides. Seriously my tummy growls while I'm typing right now.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">The warung owns one grill on the roadside which makes it often shrouded with smoke. The place is always busy and sometimes people have to stand in line before getting a table, but trust me once you get your food it is all worth it. If you have a serious hatred for pork, you may try the grilled chicken and fried rice, it's quite fine too. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hog Wild opens daily from</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> 11am – 10.30pm</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Never feel like there's enough time? Find yourself struggling to get up or into work mode? I definitely the one who knows the feeling best. So I woke up at 11 today. I slept at 3am and set my alarm for 9am. And yes I heard it rang and I got up to shut it off (my alarm is placed quite far from where I sleep, hoping that I get up from my couch and never go back), but then I jumped back to my seductive couch. Gosh it's like one of the best feeling. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">These days, in the name of productivity and so that I can experience the glory of sunrise, I decided to quit the snoozathons and wake up early! I'm planning to practice some of these habits below, in hopes that good things will come my way.</span><br />
<img 0="" border="0" src="http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy160/feliaudrey/WU_zpsoirywpex.jpg" height="360" style="text-align: start;" width="600" /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">1. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Don’t press snooze! Get out of the bedroom and get going as soon as you wake up. Don’t let yourself be tempted to jump back under the tempting covers!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">2. Spare time to get ready and decide on an outfit that you will feel great in.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">3. Take a hot shower, do your beauty routine.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">4. Exercise! Make sure to stretch well, get in a short workout.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">5. Map out your day and make a plan about how you will get things done.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">6. Listen to a playlist that pumps you up.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">7. Read or watch something that inspires you (it can be quotes on your phone wallpaper or motivational twits on twitter)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">8. Eat a good breakfast, a healthy one!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">9. Eat less at night so that you don’t wake up feeling full and lethargic.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">10. Try to be five minutes ahead of schedule so that if something disrupts your morning routine, it won’t make you late.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">11. Meditate. While doing this, remind yourself what your goals are and how you want your day to go, and make it happen!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">12. If you can, swap tea for coffee, or avoid caffeine completely. I prefer infused water though.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">13. Check your emails so that you can plan accordingly.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">14. Catch up on the news so you don’t face the day entirely clueless about current events.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">15. Hydrate! Drink a cup or two of water. A little bit of H20 works wonders for your body.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">16. Smile, it will make you feel good :)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">17. Stick to your routine through the week, and try not to deviate too far from it on the weekend, it will make Mondays extra hard.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">18. Take your dog for a walk if you have one.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Now, you're ready to go outside and appreciate the day.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="line-height: 25px;">It's been 3 months since my last post. I know it seems like I neglect this blog. The fact is I don't have enough time to blog as much as it used to be. My time was mostly spent on travel and thought about what step I'mma take after my almost-perfect-well-prepared plan had to be terminated for a good cause. Don't feel like talking about it here, so let's moving on…</span></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 25px;"> I've posted the holy matrimony of my oldest bro earlier, so I have no reason not to share the wedding reception photos. </span></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large; line-height: 25px;">Before we jump to the photos, I'm gonna give a brief description about how Chinese Indonesian wedding reception goes.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 25px;">Compared to most wedding receptions in modern countries like USA, England, and Singapore, the wedding reception here is extravaganza and uber festive. Wedding invitations are sent out 3-4 weeks before; number of guests may vary depending on the size of the party itself. The most common is 600-1000 guests. Friends, families, friends of families, and colleagues are welcomed and expected to attend. They mainly donate money (red envelope) as their gift to the bride and groom. </span></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 25px;">There is a huge presence of flowers in Indonesian wedding because they believe that the more flowers you have on your wedding day, the richer you will seem LOL.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 25px;">A long procession leads to where the guests await the newly wedded bride and groom. </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 25px;">As the reception begins, the groom or family stands up and thank the guests for attending the wedding. Bride and groom make their way up to their seats near the stage to watch the performers (nowadays, they invite celebrities to perform). </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 25px;">Enough with the small talk, so here are the photos!</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">As buddhist, my brother and his fiancé had a wedding ceremony in a Buddhist temple called Vihara. The intention of Buddhist wedding is to build and maintain a harmonious and spiritual family. I can say that Buddhist wedding is a simple wedding ritual. It was started from entering the place (bride, groom, followed by their parents), affirmation (officiant as the leader of the ceremony asked a few questions to the bride and groom if there are any force and threat from other party to marry in Buddha religion), light the candles, yellow ribbon knotting and cover up by yellow cloth, until signing the wedding vow.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Second day in Bali. I threw a bridal shower that afternoon at Biku, North Seminyak, topped with a little decoration by <a href="http://facebook.com/Voilawish">Voilawish Party Designer</a>. I particularly fell in love with the place. From the outside, it's easy to miss because the sign is not big enough and the building itself is not eye-catching. But once you enter, you'll be amazed by the colonial-style interior. It's a unique combination of a tea lounge, an eclectic restaurant, book store, warm service, and yummy foods (pavlova with tropical fruits and the amazing banana toffee pie are too good to be true). Biku's signature is probably the Traditional high tea. I made a reservation for a tea time few days before I came. One point to note is you need to make reservation in advance so that you can have a great spot (my favourite is the outdoor area).</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Bali. Probably my most favourite place to spend my holiday. This time, I went to Bali for a bachelorette weekend since one of my girls will be a mrs. next month. I did research and book everything in beforehand. I don't want things to very easily happen that nothing is booked so we end up wandering around looking for things to do. Since it's a bachelorette weekend, it's all about having a great time and doing the activities our bride-to-be would enjoy. This includes everything from booking in the right accommodation and restaurants to ensure we have a number of fun activities lined up that we will enjoy. So.. awesome weekend in Bali began at The Mulia Resort.</span><br />
<img 0="" border="0" src="http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy160/feliaudrey/2014/mul20_zps80a91e26.jpeg" height="570" width="600" />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">We had lunch at The Cafe, one of the outlets. After the first step entering, I was amazed by the spacious interior. It's the combination of blue, yellow, green, and violet chairs. They have so many choice of food from all over the world (chinese, indian, indonesian, japanese, thai, and western food) and the quality of the food was excellent. The dessert room is amaze-ball and immediately become my favourite with many choice of ice cream, cakes, cupcakes, frozen yoghurt with its toppings, creme brûlée, cheesecake in shots, mousse, and the mighty chocolate fountain! Basically starve yourself for the day to enjoy your buffet to the fullest. The buffet is worth every cent and is an experience one should not miss while in Bali. Be sure to make prior reservations as this place is always packed. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: large;">Our weekend getaway to Malang started with a bang as we were trapped by the heavy traffic and lost. To cut the long story short, finally we managed to get to Museum Angkut at 3pm. I never heard about this place before, but it's the local version of Universal Studio, people said. Went there on May, less than 2 months after its opening, the place was very packed. Basically the place is an indoor giant gallery divided into sections, such as The Main, Chinatown, Europe, Education, Gangster & Broadway, Holywood, and Floating Market. Be sure to check out Gangster & Broadway section if you want to buy knick-knacks, souvenirs, and foods. It's also the only resting area (I wish I brought water bottle that day). After two hours walking, I can conclude that what I did there was taking pictures, which is so boring. If you bring kids, they probably will have a blast learning about stuff and interacting with the exhibits. I appreciate the experience of visiting this museum thought. Various exhibits offer a great opportunity to know how the world around us used to look like. I can't give you a clear overview of how it looks like since I only took few pics there, so you can google it.</span></div>
