Bandung, 2nd

After having breakie at hotel, we decided to walk from shop to shop and visit some places to eat. Below are some pics taken at a cafe boutique. I fell in love with the tea cup.

It is one of the first in Indonesia to be marketed around a healthy and organic food concept. As of today, it is more about marketing than about eating real healthy food, but that's a very good start for the country I think. The interior resembles that of a greenhouse garden, with a lot of sunlight coming in, and abundant vegetation, flowers and plants. It terms of design, it's perfect, but I found it way too warm inside, almost unbearable. The crowd is definitely upmarket, with always at least a few expatriates. My only problem was the warmth of the room. There is no aircon inside and it can be quite uncomfortable if you eat for lunch. I hope they will improve that particular point.

I found this restaurant recommended by a friend from Bandung. The waffle above were crunchy, sweet, and delicious as heaven! They have a lot of choice for toppings and flavors. If you don’t like something sweet, you can choose the heavy meal (try the pastas, sop buntut, and steak) and soup of the day offer by the restaurant. Although the place is not too big, Brussel Spring Bandung is quite comfortable with a fun decor concept.
